This is post is in response to the Bloggiesta mini challenge Google Reader Replacement Options by Jenn from The Picky Girl. (@picky_girl) Personally, the news that Google Reader is shutting down was like a kick to my non-existent nads. I have been using GR for a good long while, and to me it was practically perfect. It did all the things I wanted it to do, and few of the things I did not. All good things must come to an end, as they say, so it became time to look for an alternative reader.
